Tulare County was incorporated in 1852. Today it includes the cities of Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Porterville, Tulare, Visalia, and Woodlake.
Formed in 1919, the Tulare County Fair is the largest locally attended event in Tulare County. It is held every year in mid-September. Additionally our fairgrounds are available year round for use by the community.
The Tulare County Fair is an agency of the State of California, overseen by a Board of Directors appointed by the Governor. The Board is comprised of eight members who reside within the County of Tulare. Current seated Board Members include:
